Governors for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan.

Islamabad: 4 May 2024: President Zardari said "yes" to the people who will be governors for Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Punjab, and Balochistan. Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari, the leader of PPP, chose two important party members to be governors in KP and Punjab. This was part of a deal made with PML-N before they joined together in the government.
In Balochistan, Jaffar Khan Mandokhail, who leads PML-N in that province, got picked as the new governor.
A statement from the president's office listed Faisal Karim Kundi as the pick for KP, Sardar Saleem Haider for Punjab, and Mandokhail for Balochistan. This was all done according to the rules in the Constitution.
After announcing these picks, Bilawal went to meet Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and shared the news with him.
