Islamabad: 23 March 2024: Cricketer Imad Wasim has reversed his retirement decision ahead of the T20 World Cup. He announced his availability for the upcoming tournament, rescinding his retirement from international cricket last November.
In a post on the social media platform X, Wasim stated, "I am happy to announce that following discussions with PCB officials, I have decided to reconsider my retirement and am excited to declare my availability for Pakistan cricket in the T20I format leading up to the ICC T20I World Cup 2024."
He expressed gratitude to the PCB for their trust in him and pledged to do his utmost to bring honor to his country, emphasizing, "Pakistan comes first!"
