Pakpattan: Road mishap leaves one dead

PAKPATTAN: 02, JANUARY, 2021: One person was dead while several others were injured when a passenger bus turned turtle in Pakpattan on Sunday night.
According to details, the road mishap took place at the Arifwala Road in Pakpattan where a bus overturned, as a result, a man died on the spot and several others were wounded.
After being informed, police and rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead and injured to hospital.
Eye-witnesses said the accident occurred due to over-speeding.
Earlier, on December 23, a motorcyclist dead in a road accident in Karachi on late Wednesday night.
According to details, the road mishap occurred in Liaquatabad, area of Karachi where an over-speeding dumper hit a motor bike, as a result, one person died on the spot.
Area residents gathered at the scene and torched the dumper while the driver of the dumper managed to flee from the scene after the accident.
After being informed, police and rescue teams reached the spot and moved the dead body to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital. (04)
