PM Imran to launch Kamyab Pakistan Programme today

ISLAMABAD: 04, OCTOBER, 2021: Prime Minister Imran Khan will inaugurate Kamyab Pakistan Programme today (Monday) under which soft loans worth Rs1.4 trillion will be given to 3.7 million families across the country.

According to sources, the govt's much ambitious Kamyab Pakistan Programme consists of five components, including interest-free loans for farmers under the Kamyab Kisan programme, financing of up to Rs500,000 for setting up a business under the Kamyab Karobar programme, financing for construction of housing units under Sasta Ghar scheme and provision of skilled based scholarships to youth. 

In addition, Sehat Insaf Card will also be linked with this Programme.

In a statement, Finance Minister Shaukat Tarin said all necessary preparations for the inauguration of the Kamyab Pakistan Programme have been completed.

The minister said the initiative reflects the sense of state?s responsibility towards the weaker segments of society, adding that, this is the first programme of its kind in Pakistan that will connect banks and low-income groups through microfinance institutions.

It is pertinent to mention here that Kamyab Pakistan Pogramme is a major initiative of the government to alleviate poverty through empowerment of the deprived segments of the society by supporting them to transform their lives. (04)
